Sight-Seeing Dolphin Tours: A Great Way to Experience Tampa Bay!

Beautiful Tampa Bay is home to sunny skies, warm temperatures, and glistening waters.  It’s where you can relax at beautiful beaches or take advantage of the many water-based activities centered around the bay and Gulf of Mexico.  Making plans is never a problem as there are so many things to do and see in Tampa Bay!

If you are here on vacation and are wondering what to do, check out one of Tampa Bay’s premier activities, a sight-seeing dolphin tour.  It’s a wonderful, relaxing way to enjoy Tampa from a water-front perspective and great for the entire family.  Create memories of a lifetime by witnessing dolphin and other wildlife in their natural habitats. No matter your age, there are few things more exciting than seeing dolphin with their toothy “smiles” and happy spirit jumping through the air.  It is sure to bring a smile to anyone’s face!

If you’re lucky enough to live in this beautiful part of the West Coast, get creative and book your next birthday party, family reunion activity, or other event with a Tampa dolphin tour!  Dolphin tour companies such as Dolphin Quest in John’s Pass offer group rates and will cater to large parties providing a wonderful and unforgettable experience.

Enjoy the view from a 40-foot catamaran operated by a U.S. Coast Guard licensed Captain and trained crew whose first priority if your safety and comfort.  The narrated tours offer cushioned seating, snacks, clean restrooms, and set sail four times throughout the day, an hour and a half in duration.

While on your dolphin tour, make sure to bring your fast shutter speed camera, video camera, a water-resistant jacket (depending on the weather), and sunglasses. Be prepared to keep your eyes on the water so you don’t miss a thing!  Other wildlife creatures that you may encounter include frigate birds, glossy ibis, brown pelicans, eagles, white ibis, and possibly manatee.  The birds will usually “pose”, but you’ve got to be quick on your feet to capture a shot of the dolphin!  These active animals will only give you a few seconds for a photo op!

Whether you are local or on vacation, a dolphin tour is a wonderful experience to share with friends and family that will be talked about for many years to come.
