A: Sure! We recommend a waterproof camera. You may find it handy if we see dolphins, pelicans, osprey, herons, and the occasional manatee. Plus, you can snap social-worthy shots from the boat.

A: It’s your choice. You can just sit back and enjoy the fresh ocean air or join in on the fun and games.

A: No! All ages will enjoy our dolphin and pirate cruise—from Lil’ Swabbies to Salty Dogs!

A: Not likely. Most of our cruises take place in the calm waters of Boca Ciega Bay, and we only go out into the Gulf of Mexico on special occasions. Chances are very slim that you will get ill. If you are subject to motion sickness, then taking some preemptive actions may be a good idea. But always check with your physician.

A: Yes! Safety is our number one priority aboard our vessels. They’re regularly inspected by the U.S. Coast Guard. All captains and crew members have been drug tested and are subject to random drug testing.

A: Beer, wine, sodas, and water are included for free. Premium drinks and small snacks are available for purchase.

A: Many of our cruises do sell out, so to guarantee your space on board, we recommend that you book in advance with our online scheduler or by calling 727-423-7824.

A: No later than 30 minutes prior to your cruise’s scheduled departure time to obtain your boarding pass. We suggest you allow an additional 1 hour during our busy season (Mar-Sept) to find parking at John’s Pass – it is VERY busy!

A: We suggest you wear comfortable clothing and possibly a jacket during the winter months. Sunscreen is highly recommended. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed to be brought on board. No coolers allowed.

A: Due to limited space, strollers are stowed on the dock as you board the ship. If you require special accommodation, please speak with the captain before boarding.

A: Of course! Feel free to visit our pirate gift shop before or after your cruise. There, you can find hats, swords, eye patches, and much more!

A: Anytime you are on the water, there is a chance that you may get wet, but onboard the Royal Conquest, the squirt gun battle is most likely the only way you may get wet. Dry areas are available for those who don’t enjoy a good squirt gun battle.

Only trained service animals are allowed on board. Please make accommodations in advance for all other furry friends. If you are riding the pirate ship, we recommend avoiding the last cruise of the day due to loud cannon fire.
