Q: Is there parking available?
Yes, there is metered parking as well as a parking garage.
Q: Is there a bathroom aboard the ship?
Yes, but we sailor’s refer to it as the “head”. We strongly recommend that you use the land base facilities prior to boarding the ship.
Q: How many passengers can come along?
The ship holds up to 24 passengers.
Q: Can we bring our own camera?
Sure! You may want it handy if we see dolphins, pelicans, herons, and the occasional manatee. (We recommend a waterproof camera).
Q: Will we get seasick?
Not likely. Most of our cruises take place in the calm waters of Boca Ciega Bay and we only go out into the Gulf of Mexico on special occasions, so chances are very slim that you would get ill. If you are subject to motion sickness, then taking some preemptive actions may be a good idea. Check with your physician.
Q: Is the cruise safe?
Yes! Safety is our number one priority aboard Dolphin Quest. Dolphin Quest’s boat is Coast Guard inspected. All Captains and crew members have been drug tested and are subject to random drug testing.
Q: Are there food and drinks available aboard the ship?
Beverages and snacks are available for purchase onboard.
Q: Do we need a reservation?
Many of our cruises do sell out, so to guarantee your space on board we recommend that you book in advance by calling Zerve at 727-350-1101.
Q: How early must we arrive?
No later than 30 minutes prior to your cruise’s scheduled departure time.
Q: What should we bring?
We suggest you wear comfortable clothing, and possibly a jacket during the winter months. Sunscreen is highly recommended. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed to be brought on board.
